Red All Over

My mom is really into red accents. We have a red couch, our kitchen has a red coffee maker, red sugar & flour jars and our current dining room (soon breakfast room) is red with chair railing.

And we have recently welcomed these guys to our porch:

After looking for a little bit, we decided that these foldable ones from Hayneedle were the right choice sans-cushion.

We were so surprised with the packaging and the instructions. Super packed in and super simple! Point Hayneedle.

Although not very eco- friendly. The styrofoam was a little hard to corral. Whatevs.

Here is how it looked at about 85% the way through:

Assembling wasn’t too bad, but then again we could have looked at the directions a little more carefully. I think it took about 20 minutes for the first one and 10ish minutes for the second, just because we knew what we were doing the second time around.

We LOVE the way it pops on our neutral porch and white house.

My mom has wanted a fire pit for years so when one that fit all of our needs hopped on sale on Joss and Main, we jumped on it. Here it looks now that we put it on the deck:

We like how you can make it s table (the shelf under it moves up to cover the pit) and we also like that it can transform into a cooler by taking off the lid and putting ice into it.

Nest up on the list is to add an outdoor rug, add some weather-proof art and get creative with covering up the air conditioner (far left in the picture above). Any suggestions?

  1. oh those are really cute! I just painted my front door that same color. Maybe I need to pick a few up! Are they comfy?
